The Columbia Mini Lay D Down Puffer is a very warm lightweight jacket for girls. Using Columbia's Omni-Heat technology, plus an 80/20 down/feather insulation layer, this is a warm yet attractively styled jacket. The outer fabric has Columbia's Omni-Shield technology, so is highly water resistant and very breathable. Ski friendly features such as a powder skirt make this really versatile for both ski use and other activities.

About Omni-Shield:
Omni-Shield delivers protection from the outdoors where you least expect it but need it most. This coated fabric resists all liquids below 76DEG C from absorbing into the yarns and staining the garment (without any effect on the feel of the material). The fabric itself will also dry 3-5 times faster than untreated fabric, without holding moisture like a conventional fabric, meaning it stays lighter even when its wet.

Sizing Note: Columbia sizing does NOT align directly with child age.
It is sized very similarly to some high street brands (for example it is almost identical to Next sizing), and many children will need to size up. Please use the red 'Sizing Guide' button next to the product image to see the measurements for your child.
The size typically (but not always) relates to traditional 50th percentile sizes, which many children now exceed.
